For the young set. Measuring aprox 5/8" across it has a nice deep interior for ease of placing pictures or TINY treasures. Room enough for a nice initial on front or back. The back has the same engraving as the front of the locket. Comes with a 16" sterling chain.-Not suitable for a child under 12yrs
